I use this for hunting whitetail. Satellite, topo, Lidar and more.

This app is priceless for navigating in waters with poor charting. If there is sun glare on an image you can choose another source.

This was a great app and have used it for a year extensively. In March the track recorder started just logging straight lines between points the recording the track for a bit and then recording a straight line again. This seemed to stop, but this last week this has been painful, I cannot record a track at all. It is pity as I really enjoyed using this app.

Best app for detailed maps. Glad developers are still supporting it, adding backup that helps get around recent Android changes.

used to use "Maverick," but it became outdated, unsupported, and vanished off google Play.. I have found this one to be great on my Samsung xcover5 with its features plus you can turn off your mobile screen for periods to save battery while it still records your track and real time location so when you turn on your screen again its up to date when you look at it.. proximity alarm is very useful also, and you can export a track with all its waypoints, details, and even photos attached..

Excellent app for orientation with basic and advances features. Pay once to buy instead of the now classic monthly subscription payment, and recommendation by experienced fellow mountaneers is what brought me to alpineQuest and I'm glad It did. I recommend it

Don't make the same mistake as me. Although the developers state that Alpinequest can be used with Memory Map files, this is only true for the older styles of maps (qct). If you look carefully at the compatibility table on their website AQ cannot use the new MM files (qc3) which I use so the app is really useless for me, though it does have good features for those who don't need MM compatibility.

I've used this app for a wide range of activities for more than 4 years, including professional ski guiding. It's so close to perfect I have nothing bad to say about it. It is by far the highest quality app on my phone and worth every penny. It offers very deep functionality, with a simple interface, something that is extremely difficult to achieve.

I have used this app on my last three phones and a tablet without any problems at all. Though I am not an expert with all apps this one has provided me with everything I could wish for.

I have had this app for years now, which I would have always given 5 stars on bc it is amazing for what this apps abilities have been capable of,until now. I have tried downloading and caching the maps for an upcoming trip from home with full cell service/home wifi and the app for the 1st time ever is taking forever to download and then only about 3/4 of it loads. Now it takes several minutes to save a map section and there are constant errors in the downloads, and I haven't been able to fix it...

Overall seems very good. But WHY can you not change the colour or transparency of a placemark layer? I get that you can change individual features, but for a layer with hundreds this is impractical. If there is any way to change all features at once please let me know, it is the only flaw but it is a HUGE one! If SW Maps can do it (for free) why can this one not?
